Choose Home Care, Not a Nursing Home
Here’s why home care in Rancho Cucamonga is a better option than a nursing home.
What is Home Care?
Compared to a nursing home, home care is top quality one on one personal care assistance. It is hands-on care and support for those who need it in their daily lives in their own home. Highly trained professionals assist patients in a number of activities, including: Patients that are being discharged from the hospital or facility, patients with chronic illness, patients in need of respite care, and patients requiring end of life care. What Do Caregivers Do?
An at-home caregiver can provide non-medical assistance with activities of daily living as well as meal preparation, laundry/linen change, and general light housekeeping. At a nursing home, there are numerous patients that need to be looked after and assisted. It can be hard for a caregiver in a nursing home to provide all the care and support needed for a patient. At HomeCare by Benchmark, Inc., with a care giver in the luxury of the patient’s own home, they can provide their sole attention and dedication to that specific patient, along with assisting them with daily home duties that need to be taken care of.
